
Rosa Giuliani is a consultant medical oncologist working at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, U.K. Her main interests are breast cancer, clinical and regulatory development of innovative drugs and more in general sustainable access to innovation. Rosa is the co-chair of the Healthcare Professional Working party (2022-2025) and in the past she has held positions as external clinical assessor for the Italian Agency of Drugs (AIFA), as National Expert on secondment at the European Medicine Agency, EMA, (2011-12), and as core member of the EMA Scientific Advisory Group in Oncology (SAG-O, April 2012-June 2021). She served a Member of the Executive Board and Director of Public Policy of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) from January 2020 till December 2022. In October 2023 she was awarded with the Fellow of ESMO (FESMO) title, awarded to ESMO members demonstrating exceptional commitment to the Society. She is currently on the board of Directors of the Cancer Drug Development Forum (CDDF), in the steering committee of EIT Health Think Tank Steering Committee on Blood-Based Cancer Screening and of the European Academy Access (EAA). Rosa is the author of peer reviewed articles, and she regularly lectures at international meetings.
