
JOHN EU-LI WONG is the Isabel Chan Professor in Medical Sciences, Executive Director, Centre for Population Health, National University of Singapore; Senior Advisor, National University Health System. A medical oncologist-hematologist, he currently co-chairs a multisectoral initiative in a real-world township to co-develop programs which increase healthy longevity, enable purposeful longevity, promote intergenerational bonding and enable ageing-in-place.
He is an elected member, Academia Europaea; international member, United States National Academy of Medicine, where he co-chaired an international commission on a Global Roadmap for Healthy Longevity; member, Planning Group, United Nations Global Initiative to Accelerate Advances in Healthy Aging; commissioner, Lancet Commission on 21st Century Global Health Threats.
He was the recipient of the Ageing Asia Global Ageing Influencer Award 2025, US National Academy of Medicine David Rall Medal 2023, Hebrew University of Jerusalem Doctor Philosophiae Honoris Causa 2019, Singapore Public Administration Medal (Gold) 2016, and Singapore President’s Science & Technology Medal 2014, among other awards.
