Joan Collar

Joan Collar is Marsh’s Chief Commercial Officer for Asia where she is responsible for commercial strategy, sales, distribution and innovation for the four operating brands of Marsh Risk, Marsh People & Investments, Marsh Re and Oliver Wyman around areas of People, Risk and Strategy. In her role, she drives collaboration and connects the best of our solutions for our clients across Asia.

Prior to her appointment to this role, Joan was the Mercer Marsh Benefits Asia Pacific leader for 16 years. In that role, she was responsible for the P&L, growth, strategy, operations of the largest employee benefits business in Asia, growing double digit every year and delivering profitable growth. She is passionate about healthcare in areas of accessibility and affordability.
