Chair, Age Friendly Manchester Older People’s Board
Elaine Unegbu is Chair of the Age Friendly Manchester Older People’s Board and also Chair's the Greater Manchester Older People’s Board, working to empower older people across the city region. Elaine’s background is in nursing, nursing management and education and worked in the Netherlands, England and Nigeria. She relocated to England in the early nineties and worked in Nursing Home management and also with the Quality Outcomes Framework, with the Care Quality Commission and was a Non-Executive Director of the Manchester Health Authority.
