Dr. Maria Borentain

Maria Borentain holds a Medical Degree from the University of Paris Medical School and is board-certified in cardiovascular medicine. After several years in clinical practice, Dr. Borentain started her industry career at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in Medical Affairs, Business Development and Cardiovascular Global Clinical Development, in Europe and the U.S. She joined Bayer in 2022 as the Therapeutic Area Head for Thrombosis and Vascular Diseases and since then expanded her responsibilities to Cardiovascular and Renal Clinical Development.
